Assigning children household chores is one of the best ways to build self-esteem and a feeling of competence. Regular chores establish helpful habits and good attitudes about work.

CHILDREN OF ALCOHOLICS
At least seven million American children have alcoholic parents. Child and adolescent psychiatrists know these children are at greater risk for having emotional problems than children whose parents are not alcoholics.

Many American adults don't vote because they think it doesn't make a difference.
